History:
Past cleanings were performed by contractors using hydroblasting on pad.

Past Results:
Incomplete shell-side cleaning. Extensive/costly pad clean-up required.

Cleaning Solution: Light Cycle Oil 2000 Gals

Cleaning Time: 4.5 Hrs

After 3 months in service, customer reports projected 12 month fuel gas cost savings of $250,000.00.

Additional note: This was a head-to-Head test with customer's local hydrobalster.  The Desalter had two bundles operating in parallel. One was given to us and cleaned in 4.5 hours. During the afternoon of the second day, the sister bundle was taken off the hydroblaster and put into our EMBC to finish cleaning.  Hydroblasting had packed the fouling so tightly into the center of the bundle, 6.5 hours was required to clean the second one.
